Who Are The Shepherds? | Wuthering Waves Lore

When we first meet the fractsidus in wuthering waves, Scar tells us a story about the shepherds, otherworldly beings who are able to grant wishes to those that follow them. According to his story the shepherds caused great suffering to those who realized the price they have to pay for the wishes. But what if I were to tell you that we already know who the shepherds are, in fact it might be a faction we have already met. So in this video we are going to discuss and try to answer the question who are the sheperds of wuthering waves

Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Wuthering Waves lore.

Finally. I am so hyped that someone is covering WuWa lore. Even though the story isn't the best right now, I feel like there's still interesting lore in the game and I still want to know about it. Especially as we go into other regions.

the Shephereds is Mihoyo
the white lamb is the Genshin Impact Community
the black lamp are those who spoke up about how awfull Mihoyo is treating their players

I personally think that the shepherd/s are the sentinels.

At first, I was thinking "ain't no way", but the more I think about this, the possibility is certainly there. We don't really know much about the guardians other than what the people who rely on them for their well-being have told us. What if the cutscene where rover faces Jue, was actually them facing-off against Jue? But on the other hand, we can't ignore that we have not seen any negative effects of Jue and the only person who is against it is clearly an unhinged lunatic who wants to combine humans and TDs, and is trying to get us on his side.

I don’t fully trust Scar as a reliable narrative, however I think the story he told may hold a kernel of truth, even if it’s from and twisted perspective. Also,

I believe we will be able to absorb Jué as an echo, which may mean that Sentinels may share similar properties to the TD?
I know that all life has echoes frequencies which are what are absorbed, but we can’t absorb the frequencies of other life forms besides the TD, like the Fractsidus followers for example.

I like your interpretation. I feel like the story of wuthering waves is already falling apart (full of confusion for me). I feel like the stories are put by together by a team of multiple people that may come and go at anytime. Without a dictator writer I don't think we can have good story that follow in the right direction with previous one. However, I also think that a single person with that much power can make good story without a team of people feedback on it.

What if sentinels are theodians (however you spell it) and are controlling humanity to use their energy also so to protect themselves

It could also explain why the fraxadis (idk how to spell that either) want to absorb theodians so they can be in equal power as sentinels

Yes, I've come to a similar conclusion as well. I just feel like there some truth to what Scar is telling. And its also because of his actions. He actually doesnt want to make us as an emey. a loose end to tie up. I see scar as very danagerous. Mainly because of his intellect I get from him. Hin being all unhinge isnt what makes him scary to me. H left with the lines of calling himself and Rover a black sheep, and if Rover ever found out the truth, she/he would join him.

Anyway, they released a trailer recently that once again is painting the guardians in a positive light... But im still skeptical. The part in the story of what Scar wishped into Jinshis ear and had her shocked. Then her breifly mentioning to Channli if what Scar says is true, may make Jue our enemy. Really has me interested. Just two sutle points I picked up in the story.

Personally, I love the idea of Jinhsis "character development" if shes has to braek away for Jue and stand on her own for Jouhziou (Rover will probably inspire her too). I really want to see good character developments and story from Wuwu. I know theres tons of other people alraedy trashing on the story, which to be honest. is kinda annoying. Some parts could be improved yes, but the way they go on about it is just frustating. Its more like they are just trashing on it, rather than saying what could make it better. And their also trashing on Yangyang for some reason I dont get. Shes just the main cahracter involved with Rover and has alot of interaction with you.

Reminds me of The Sparta and the Oracle in the movie 300. Though not sure in real life if the Oracle of Delphi has such authority over the Greek cities in the early ancient era.
