Have you ever wondered why God chose Shepherds to announce the Birth of Jesus? I did some research on this and the reason I found on the importance of the Shepherds is awesome!

I was sitting in church listening to the pastor talk about the "Christmas Story" on Jesus' birth. He was talking about the Shepherds, and how during Jesus' time shepherds were looked down upon. This really got me wondering why God would choose shepherds to announce the birth of Jesus, known that this would be an important story in history and be told often all throughout the world.
So I started doing some research, and there are a couple different theories as to why God picked the shepherds. Most of them come back to one or two basic reasons, however. So the conclusion I came to after doing some research? It's pretty awesome and goes to show that God had true meaning for something that I had never taken the time to really consider.
