2022 MK8 GTI POV Rainy Mountain Drive- 8500 Mile Owner review

I have the same trim 2022 GTI S and I fucking LOVE it. Seriously it's so much fun to drive. Coming from a 6 speed manual MK7 this thing is just the absolute best. Love the DSG, love the infotainment, love everything about it.

Idk why anyone complains about the no buttons. I thought I would hate it and I’m completely used to it after 2 weeks. This car is amazing. I’m still breaking in the engine and it’s already faster than I expected. Coming from a 2013 Corolla though lol 😂

I got mines today! first time owning a European car, I've been with honda's for almost 20yrs. I've been doing some research about this car for months and I finally pulled the plug and I'm in loved!!!! My neighbor bought my 7th Gen civic SI for a lump sump of money that I couldn't refuse lol. oh well time to move on.I GOT THE BEST DEAL EVER! $2000 mark up only! I always try to shop around on the last week of the month coz car salesman will do anything to sell it.

Have you experience an occasional steering wheel tug where it very briefly pulls slightly to one side. My new new 2023 does this, trying to figure out if it has to do with lane assist, tram lining or torque steer. It doesn’t do it very often but it is unnerving.

Question about the USB C ports. Will the infotainment system read music files from a flash drive? Either a USB A with a type c adapter or just a Type C flash drive (which are pretty rare).

You're driving too fast for those road conditions.... I have a dashcam video of a truck in similar conditions hydroplaning into a jersey wall heading into WV from KY. It was pretty scary.
