The amount of failures during the build made me laugh. Thank you sir, you are one of us. Keep up the great work.

I hope they add something like KAMP so you only probe the section of the bed needed. I also found it's best to heat the beds for a while before doing the bed mesh it will change from testing when cold.

One of the those boxes is around the size of the box that my E-bike came in and it was mostly assembled!

I'd love to see one of the 3D printable city maps scaled up to fit the entire print bed. I think it would look pretty cool.

LOL! You convinced me I'm too old and not fit enough to assemble one of these beasts....alone.
I can see this up on a platform, with wheels, about 12-20 inches off the floor.

this is late for the live stream, but if you are watching the YouTube instructions I suggest changing the playback speed (based on the numerous remarks about how "fast" they are given)

Nothing to do with the video, but have you tried using PVC pipe glue to glue together PLA parts I have it works really well

I can't imagine the level of frustration and disappointment getting 9 days through a 12 day print for it to fail. I think I would prefer several k1 max or something so you don't lose several kg of filament for a single failure

I wouldn't suggest Linus' screwdriver. It's neat and the storage capability/ratcheting mechanism is neat, but I've found MUCH more use out of iFixIt's Manta screwdriver set. So many sizes and wild screwdriver types means I got them all in that place and it's a pretty high quality screwdriver even for being non-ratcheting.

I really would like to see what is possible with this kind of bed config. My guess is that since they use cheap and loose tolerance beds and then join them, so getting a flat bed is going to be hard. Prusa has multi section bed, but few people with design interest have really looked into their designs like that, all I know is that they seemingly got it to work, just not what it took. I am personally really concerned about them 4 PEIs on this one, as I expect that to be very visible in the prints. Especially those I make.

Also, at this size, thermal expansion of that bed, sort of start to become a real issue. It is the same expansion, even if using 4 print plates. Not sure how they deal with that.

I hadn't put together an Elegoo fdm printer since the Neptune 2, so when you start complaining that the instructions don't stay on the screen long enough, I'm over here like "They still haven't fixed that!"
Nice to know that despite the crazy rate of advancement in 3d printing, some of the same annoyances persist. 😬

So, here is my suggestion.. Toymaker3D Atomic Dragon scale him up for that. n As you have an affinity for armor and models it should be very interesting. IF I had that printer Id do it, but too costly for my blood heard good things of Elegoo but not gotten one. But that screams full armor or lifesize models.
