A domestic company has developed “AI-based digital twins,” based on the precise extraction of data through facial motion capture. It can provide various contents that are similar to real humans. The company has developed its own technologies for AI-based digital twins. And it has realized diversified facial expressions and animations more rapidly and effectively. And the technologies are expected to be applied to the field of new media including films as well as VR and AR contents. Moreover, another domestic research team has developed a VR thermal device which enables people to feel the temperature in a virtual world. The length of a VR thermal device can be more than doubled so that it can be attached closely to the skin. Also, it has increased the level of heat conduction so the immersion level can be maximized. Aside from games and medical trainings, it can provide vivid virtual experiences including the meetings with people who are difficult to meet in a real world.
