This is so emotional to see. I am so happy he returned. Most do. Some don't. But they have no other option than to defend their land. And there are as many good reasons for us to support Ukraine as there are decent, civilised people in the world.

Unfortunately for these folk the switch is often a too big one to make in the time they're with their family.
From the war ravaged front lines with their buddies, to the relative safety far away where people go about their daily lives as if nothing dramatic is happening.
Of course they love their families, who doesn't, but they also care much about their buddies left behind at the front having to continue the fight while they enjoy some relative peace and quiet.
It's a massive emotional drain both ways with divided loyalties, home and the front.
When this war is over there will be tons of folk who'll need professional emotional help.
