After Russia invaded Ukraine, president Zelenskyy immediately vowed to arm any of its citizens who volunteered to defend the country.
More than a million Ukrainians have fled to neighbouring countries to escape the fighting.
But others have decided to stay behind to join local formed territorial defence units to protect their country.

Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel-Hamid reports from a village in the Dnipro region in eastern Ukraine

Putin would not win this war. Ukrainians their going to guerrilla warfare. This type of battle is the hardest war you could encounter. It's in the history. Guerilla warfare success is on the mass based plus a foreign support. This weapons on this type of war is a shoulder fire, because it could move quite easy. Russia would suffer heavy losses of lives and equipment on this. The western alliance has a sanctions on Russia economy in which it limits his financial ability to sustain a war. It's 10th day now Russia has no areas which he could say he controlled it he always have local resistance even he drops a lot of bombs it will not stop the resistance.
