2 Thessalonians 3:10 even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”

George Washington's speech after his second term stated that he hoped we would not vote out of loyalty to our faction/party, but that we would vote out of loyalty to our nation. Putting America's well being first before foreign interests. We've gone away from that and it's sad.

Depends if over 100 million deaths under socialism in the 20th century alone matters or not.

Christ was NOT a socialist. He did not steal to provide. He had compassion. Big difference.

We are supposed to be a republic. One nation under God not government. The constitution is meant to restrain government. Equity is not equality. Equity robs the ones that produce to pay the worthless. Charity is for those that cannot work due to some illness or disability. Charity isn't charity if it is forced. It comes from the compassion of the heart. There are many different forms of capitalism. Only a free market one is good for society. Vulture capitalism and corporatism are bad forms of capitalism. It leads to things like BlackRock and Vangard controlling the worth of a person.

In the Parable of the Talents, the servants weren't all given the same number of talents and the ones who capitalized on/or increased their talents were rewarded.

Capitalism is like a forest where every tree in it grows to it's own height.
Socialism is like all the blades of grass in your yard getting mowed down to the same height, with the government being the lawnmower.

Vote is typically understood as IMPLIED SUPPORT. When the world sees that a large amount of Christians have voted for Trump, they view it as SUPPORT, regardless of what our reasons are.

If you are more concerned about your economic or financial status rather than your spiritual status your priorities are wrong. For whatever reason people in this country equate financial standing as being blessed by God which is far from the truth. Jesus and the Apostles were poor, broke, preachers.

The character in this address identified as Todd says at about 6:45 thru to 7.00, " capitalism says we're gonna create a system that curbs people's desire to get wealthy at the expense of others "
What ? This free marketeer champion is either pitifully uninformed or shamefully untruthful . Rather than "curb", capitalism in fact enables people to prosper or enrich at the expense of others.
So ingrained and operationally legitimated is this economic mechanism in society that many beneficiaries of capitalisms processes are unaware of how their transactions can often victimize others . Then of course there are those amoralists who do know but don't give a stuff . Whether they're either ignorant or cognizant of the potentially economic detriment to others, the grievous outcome is the same .

Scripture is clear, rulers are ordained by God weather its Kamala or Trump. In the end Christ is king

7:41 So when I listen to this, my impression is that for a society where people do not value God over everything, it is best to ask for a certain measure of assistance, which may well be provided by a responsible government.

Disclaimer: I am not an American citizen, just offering my perspective here. In my country there is a lot of economic freedom and not so many “equality programs”, but there is healthcare ensuring which is a great help for people to avoid severe dept.

Mathew 19:21 Jesus said "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasures in heaven, and come follow Me".

Democracy is two wolves and one sheep voting over what they are going to have for lunch.

The company I work for, large Fortune 250, has expanded DEI to DEIB. The B is “belonging”; I no longer belong. Many companies are quietly expanding the departments unbeknownst to the employees.

What about those who have inheritances big or small acquired through the exploitation and oppression of others - knowingly or unconsciously. You’re parents had low interest rates. Paid off their home early. Left you money, a boat, a vacation home and insurance money. My father paid a mortgage for 45 years, had a high interest rate, and died owing much more than he originally paid for the house. He worked hard, but never received the help he needed to leverage that into something beneficial to himself and his family. The government should come in and even the playing field. God knows some “Christians” care more about the letter than actually DOING the WORD and helping those in need. Struggling every day, living constantly underwater. While you’re debating, people are suffering - abused at work, a paycheck away from homelessness. BTW I’m not voting for Harris the abortionist, but our economic system needs an overhaul.

Proverbs 19:17 - Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

Proverbs 22:9 - Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.

Proverbs 14:31 - Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him.

Deuteronomy 15:11 - For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

Proverbs 28:27 - Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.

Galatians 2:10 - Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.

Proverbs 14:21 - Whoever despises his neighbor is a sinner, but blessed is he who is generous to the poor.

Acts 20:35 - In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Why does she repeatedly say “we are a democracy?”

Can we actually just call Free Enterprise, Free Enterprise instead of calling it by a slur created by the people who oppose it?
