You can tell nobody in the comments has opened up a PS5 in their life. You did a solid re-application job here. It's rediculous how oxidized the SoC die and heatsink can get sometimes on these consoles. Seems like you cleaned this one up good, a happy customer no doubt :)

Yeah it's clear, after 4 years of using my ps5 vertically since i bought it, I was surprised by a failure where my PS5 no longer turned on, open it then i found out that the liquid metal was all gone and leaked inside the ps5, clean it so i've tried to put the thermal paste and when i've started the game after only 10 seconds the ps5 asked me to shut it down, then i cleaned all that thermal paste and replace it with the liquid metal CONDUCTONAUT brand one, now it's running perfectly but got no choice to use it horizontally now to avoid liquid metal leaks and drips

I opened up my ps5 slim and cleaned it and put it back and it was working, a few days ago I removed the liquid from my ps5 slim and applied thermanal paste and tried to turn it on but won’t turn on no more, it does the beeping noise when i turn it on but it won’t turn on either flash.colour

After re applying, does the liquid metal stay in place, laying the ps5 horizontally. Does the dry spot only occur because it's placed vertical?

I experienced metal liquid several times get dry spot on my ps5 I am tired of respresd it I have replaced it with thermal grizzly PhaseSheet PTM so far so good

Less is more! I use like 1/4 of that amount. You use way too much! It's to avoid air pockets, not bridge a giant gap 😂

I'll be getting a computer next week so I'm going to dropkick my PS5, shit is wack anyways there are no good classics besides fallout New Vegas but you can't even play the DLC even though it says you will be able to and the ps plus is straight trash I liked it when ps plus was the extra and you were able to play online for Free. So FAREWELL SONY because it only takes twenty years to become garbage apparently.
