Honestly THANK YOU for this. I've been putting to much pressure on myself lately, it's overwhelming. This video helped alot about the way i think.

Very truee, the way I learned making better videos is watching my own videos back at least 3 times and try to write down on what parts of the video I lose attention

I started my channel just making "let's play" videos. I soon realized no one cared. I switched to making skits, how-to videos, and glitches. etc. I also dropped my intro, I think it was too long. Self reflection is a HUGE part of the process in growing your channel. Great advice as usual, VidIQ!

I uploaded an 8 minute gameplay of "Amogus: Impostor Version" and it got a decent amount of views, so gaming videos could be quite useful for your channel.

I might need a second channel about gaming or just make a playlist of me playing roblox, Minecraft, Anima Crossing, Mario games, etc.

The 4 rules i learned from this video
1. Have a good title / tumbnail
2. Make sure to edit out boring moments that the viewer might click off on
3. Accept that you might fail the first time
4. set goals like getting 100 views on each video instead of just 10

Thank you for the video! As you said, shorts do not fill out everyone's content creation. What I did the other day is, I made a video about Miitopia 3-4 weeks before its release, and as someone that has 900subs, the video is now almost 9-10k! So I feel making content about games before dropping (like: demo impressions, or features we know so far)!

I did a poll with my audience recently. It surprised me that no one wanted more short videos. My most of my audience wanted my 10-20min Minecraft tutorials. Interesting.

- bonus idea-
Before:
Prepare your audience if you want to go off your already beaten path.
Tell them before so they get rather curious than irritated and much much more forgiving -> you allowed yourself to fail and now you have your community properly set up for allowing you to fail.

Afterwards:
embrace your community tab and poll for feedback (+harvest the vid comments)

Was I the only one who thought I was gonna get Rick Rolled at 0:28?

I have found that a bad video, or rather, a couple of bad videos, do negatively affect the channel. As you make a few videos that viewers don't click on or enjoy, those viewers stop getting recommended your content. So now you're back at square one, but with thousands of subscribers who the algorithm has decided isn't interested in your content and won't recommend it to them. That's why if you are going to experiment, mix it into other regular videos. Once every 3 or 4 videos might be fine, but I won't say I know the exact line. I just know that if you put out a series of bad experiments, you will lose the viewership you spend months or years building.

Question: once you get a viral video, how do you keep those new people to stay?

Nice I actually did this very same thing I have been staying with clash of clans primarily on my channel, so that way I have improved seo, but turns out my viewers are ok with watching different content alongside clash of clans helping me to grow my audience. I have been making clash videos for a year now, but I recently switched and told myself that this entire month of May I am going to play a different game every single day! Turns out my viewers are liking the new different games I am playing its a good idea if your stuck with just playing one game for your entire channel highly recommend staying with one main game, but dont be afraid to try different games as well to bring in more viewers.
