After watching the video of what happened, it's clear that Carly is manipulating everyone & is a cold-blooded killer. Her mom didn't deserve that, and neither did the dogs.💢

Why do I feel like Carly is totally running her own defense? She's listening, watching, taking notes. I feel like when this case is over, she will have a law degree. I'm surprised the grandparents are allowed to sit so close and converse with Carly.

Cold. No emotion after the killing. Not scared and freaked out at all like the step dad said. All an act. Life in prison.

He’s trying to make it sound like getting shot by her was no big deal!

She knew the camera was recording by the way she hid the gun, she was soooo calm, she knew what she was doing, but what really disturbed me, you clearly hear her mum call for help, and she started singing to cover it from audio, she then went to her mother, and no sound from her mum after that, she obviously finished killing her then. And the step father showed no expression when his wife's name mentioned, but had loads about his step-daugther, makes you say HHHHMMM to the relationship they have. This is a person who should NEVER be released from prison, she evil

I think they needed to look more deeply into this case. Something is off!

Calm and cool as a cucumber when she put 3 bullets into her mother's head, calm when she called her girlfriend over to view the body, then told her to wait outside, calm when she texted her stepfather and proved he was an innocent victim walking into an ambush. But then momentarily terrified and screaming when the stepfather arrived, rendering her unable to do anything but graze him with 1 of the 3 bullets she fired at him, then back to calm enough to bolt out the door and tell her friend to run. I think she's a complete psychopath and planned all of it - my only question is, given the stepfather's over the top 911 call, compared to his composure and lack of emotion on the stand, and his immediate and ongoing support of her, did he have any involvement?

He testified he knew nothing about her using any drugs but on the body-cam footage he told the responding officer she did

It almost sounds like he is defending her! Crazy!

Where are the videos of her removing the kitchen camera and/or around the time stepdad got home on the kitchen camera?

If they don’t exist, did step-dad possibly delete those when he was moving them to an apple device he “wasn’t familiar with”? Or was the camera removed before he got home?

I’m not saying at all stepdad is involved, but I am curious when the kitchen camera stopped recording and why wouldn’t there be video of her (or whoever did it) removing it?

Why is the step dad testifying for her. When the prosecution got him on the stand, they seemed surprised by some of his answers. Like he had a change of heart or something. Idk did anyone else get that feeling?

If this was a 14 yr old boy- he would'nt be treated with kid gloves, Girls also can be cold blooded killers no matter how sweet they look. She is not insane - she IS guilty. Parents again left loaded guns in the house- just glad she didn't take that gun to school.

It was planned as cold as ice, she hides the gun behind her back, nobody who is crazy does that. And she makes sure that the camera doesn't film the gun. I would be afraid of this girl, in my eyes she is cold and calculating. She knows exactly what she's doing.

Day 2.
Her flat affect is so vastly different than day 1 theatre and drama without tears show.

I found her facial expressions and micro expressions fascinating once again.

Her eerie stillness is that reminiscent of every psychopath I've watched in court or in trial.

Almost like you can witness her strategic thinking in play as she was taking notes when step Daddy was on the stand.

Listening to the traumatized stepfather however, was heartbreaking.

Clearly he's suffering, shock, PTSD and some kind of break from reality where he cannot yet see the evil in the stepchild.

Parents often make so many excuses for abhorrent abominable Behavior because they don't want to face the reality. Look at Chris Watts mommy. Look at Scott Peterson's mommy. Look at don't f*** with cats Mommy.

Mommy's gone and Golden Child this child. Only step Daddy can talk for Mommy.

The eerie thing is that Carlie had smiles at such strange socially abnormative times, while step Daddy was on the witness stand.
But moreover, completely flat affect no emotions no sympathy no nothing

And when she stared at her father and smiled when he was acknowledging her in the courtroom, woah....
That was bizarre.

Because I would think a child would be tearful when step daddy's identifying them in the courtroom, maybe so tearful watching him up there so heartbroken, ....
Maybe even whispering something like I'm sorry, after watching her stepfather so broken and defeated losing his wife to murder.

But nope. Weirdly she smiles and it's bizarre and uncomfortable.

I don't think the father knew her long enough more than three and a half years to understand what personality disorders are, or what severe mental illness is.

We have to understand the stepfather loves this child and lost his family and really can't see reality right now.

Because clearly we haven't gotten to the part of the trial yet, where they're going to hopefully tell us all what this mental illness is. And please be aware, that personality disorders are not mental illnesses. They are in the DSM-5 listed in the back of the book moreover for legal reasons, so they cannot be distorted as mental illnesses in courtrooms.

I've watched a lot of trials this year alone, with child killers.

And unless this child has some severe form of dissociative identity disorder or schizophrenia, they're going to play it on the father who's only known her for three and a half years and really didn't know much about anything in detail because Mom did it all.

Mom can't speak for herself anymore

I bet years later when someone interviews the stepdad, he might just completely change his point of view about this child.

She exhibits like a lot of grown adult criminals I see all the time who do terrible things and their parents don't ever want to recognize the reality of the situation.

Same body language same facial expressions say microexpression same flat affect same social abnormalcies. .

This is just my humble opinion with no emotional involvement. And Innocent until proven guilty.

Very disturbing that the step father is smiling at her

Does anyone else wonder why step-dad and Carly have such a great relationship, especially when she murdered his wife?

I’m only 5 1/2 hours into this and I’m absolutely astonished that her stepdad and grandparents seem to wholeheartedly support her! She brutally murdered her mother! WTH!

The dad’s testimony surprised me. Much different than the 911 call. Especially, the last smile to her. 🤔
