I was an Orthodox Jew for 15 years (born into a liberal Protestant family, converted to OJ at age 28). I had a vision about 2 years ago and now I’ve been studying Catholicism and am in the process of RCIA. I am a TLM Catholic through and through. I see so much of our Jewish roots in the Catholic Church. ✝️

I am a Hebrew Catholic, in the OCI process. There are deeply ingrained fears involved that are very difficult to overcome for a Jew to truly consider Yeshua.

But the Lord works amazing things... He opened my heart. And He will open many more in the days to come.

Dr. Hahn is such a wonderful blessing to our Catholic faithful- and especially to those who are considering becoming Catholic. Thanks be to God!

St. Nicodemus and St. Gamaliel are very powerful saints to pray to to convert Jews, coming from the Pharisees and Sanhedrin prior to joining with Christ. The passages in John concerning St. Nicodemus can be powerful for evangelism to certain Jews.

A large and consistent issue within the Church is that many have rested too much in the safety of her bosom. Complacency has set in and led to lukewarm Catholicism.

Please have Roy Schoeman on to discuss this topic!

We came across a couple from Israel, they came for work and end up staying longer. We were coming outside and it started raining l, so we end up waiting until the rains over. I think God wanted us to meet this couple, we started talking. They were planning to go back that week where the war is going, this couple were telling us horrific stories about what happened at their country back home. She said, she gets anxiety with fear every time she hears loud explosives such as fireworks.
It was so heartbreaking and devastating the stories, so I end up giving her all of my scapulars, and about 7 small wallets Divine Mercy pictures of Jesus, a bracelet rosary, Saint Benedict’s and miraculous medals, the rosary oil that I carried in my bag everywhere, the Lady of Lourdes water, all of it was already exorcist blessed by the priest.
I told her every time she gets scared just look at the Divine Mercy picture of Jesus and recite the prayer at the back or just say “Jesus I trust in you” as many times as she wants. I said Jesus is a Jew like her, he will answer, and she nods her head yes. She gave me a big hug😢
I told her to have all her doors, windows blessed with the oil and Lourdes water with the sign of the cross and also put it on her families forehead and chest blessings with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
I also told her never take off the scapular. I gave her the 5 leaves scapular which came with the brown, blue (the Immaculate conception), the red scapular (the passion of the Christ), the black scapular (Lady of Sorrow), the white scapular (the Trinity) and the green, and purple. I specifically told her the purple is very important because it protected her from calamities, fire, demonic attack, basically is for this time. We exchanges social media no# accnts. I always pray for the war going on right now there and I’m thankful each day passed that we are in a peaceful place nothing going on here. I always said to my husband, never complain again about your jobs, weather or whatever it is, we are lucky, count everyday a blessings, those people are suffering so much and we must pray for them.

Well, Bible prophecy says all Jews will convert before the Second Coming. I have faith in His promise. 🙏

Matt I'm asking if you would please consider inviting a Jewish Catholic as a guest. Please, one who knows the faith well. Roy Schoeman or anyone who knows the faith would be welcomed.

As scholarly, intelligent, humble, and well studied, Scott is, I would be certain he is not misunderstanding any subject he speaks on.

We in the West need to look at the Great Prayers of the Faithful at the Good Friday service, and really look up and pray the prayer for the Jews.

It is the OF, EF and Divine Worship: The Missal of the Ordinariate Form.

Pray for the conversion of Jews. There is no salvation for those who are at fault for being outside the Catholic church.

Reach out to Roy Schoeman who is a Jewish convert after a visitation from Mary.

Shaved Matt looks at least 10 years younger.

There’s no argument here, no engagement with ideas or struggle to get at what’s true, just endless affirmation and praise for the speaker (and denigration of anyone who has the temerity to question him). We’ll just leave you to it but don’t ever tell yourselves that you’re interested in dialogue with people who don’t share your perspective.

Wisdom 2:12-20 and Isaiah 53... Who else could the OT have been foreshadowing, if not Jesus Christ?

Modern Judaism is NOT AT ALL the same religion as the religion of the ancient Israelites. Scott Hahn's equating of the two is one of his persistent errors that he brought from his Protestant background. It should have been corrected long ago,

My understanding from an Orthodox rabbi is that Isaiah 53 describes Israel, not Jesus. Curious to hear other Jewish perspectives because Christians tell a different rendition of the Tanakh.

Why Is it Hard for a Jew to believe in Jesus Christ?

The Answer is recorded by The Prophet Isaiah in chapter 6

Isaiah 6: 1-10 God Blinds The Children of Israel

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

In the time of Christ Jesus this was being fulfilled...

Matthew 13:10-17 Prophecy being Fulfilled

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Just as it was back in the Time of Jesus Christ, the Religious Leaders especially could not believe in him, because Scriptures could not be broken...

Even in the Time when The Apostle Paul was sharing the Truth with some Jews... many could not believe, and this is what occurred in Acts 28...

Acts 28:21-29 The Apostle Paul also Quotes from the Prophet Isaiah...

21 And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee, neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.

22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.

23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

This is Why it is easier for a Gentile to believe in God and The Lord Jesus, than a Jew - but there will be a Day when The Children of Israel as a whole will get their eyes open.

That Day will not come to pass until the 70th Week of Daniel 9:24-27 comes to pass. Until that time, only a Few of Many will Believe in The Lord Jesus Christ.
