With all due respect to Prof. Turley (great man), far from being a deterrent, the prosecutor has basically hung out a shingle for campaign donations etc. from business owners willing to pay-to-play. Our country is suffering from 'Great Power Syndrome', where a broad class of elites take over the powers of governance in order to insure their dominance and privilege. Much as I dislike Trump's personality quirks, if we re-elect Biden, it's game-over for the 'Greatest Democracy on Earth'.
