I saw an interview with a man who had no conscience at all, became a mafia assassin, and described how he liked watching people's look of shock when he stabbed them. At some point, the interviewer rubbed him the wrong way and he asked, "Are you thinking about killing me right now?" and the guy admitted he was. There are some scary people in this world...

As much as I know Jeffrey wasn't a psychopath, he was familiar whit guilt and empathy and knew he was doing wrong, but just ignored his feeling for the sake of control and dominant
