Deadpool & Wolverine is a 2024 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Deadpool and Wolverine, produced by Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort, and 21 Laps Entertainment, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the sequel to Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). The film is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay he wrote with Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. Reynolds and Hugh Jackman star as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively, alongside Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Aaron Stanford, and Matthew Macfadyen in supporting roles. In the film, Deadpool is pulled from his quiet life by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and he partners with a reluctant Wolverine on a journey to save his universe.

this should have been the true villain of the movie. it would have followed the MCU plot of facing a similar villain to the hero. like iron man, shang chi, captain America, Thor, Doctor Strange, Ant man etc. And by giving him both of their powers, it would have been one strong villain to defeat. Marvel keeps leaving great thoughts in concept art stage like Hulk hulking out of hulkbuster.

Despite some recent stumbles, the MCU is truly lightning in a bottle. 30+ films and only 5 misses, several of the highest grossing ever made, averaging 900m-1B. The gold standard of franchise filmmaking/storytelling, we’ll never see something like it again. Deadpool & Wolverine was exactly what the MCU needed in every way.

But he's dead - the timelines were then allowed to branch, the time keepers - THE GODS OF TIME THEY WERE SERVING, were exposed as being a fake front for Kang, resetting the multiverse and starting the cycle all over again, so how does anyone even know what the sacred timeline is?

Writers: Well, we have an answer for all of that....

Writer: We simply do not mention Kang, and do not mention the Time

Feige: Then, what the hell is the TVA doing?

Writers: *'Don't overthink it Kev.* *The audience has low attention span and even lower IQ - they are happy to see all their favorite action dolls dumbling around on the screen and smashing about for no fugging reason whatsoever.* Plus there is rectal stabbing and gay jokes! Who doesn't like that?

Feige: Wow - at this rate we hardly even need writers as the films are little more than video game levels that reset and replay over and over again.

Writers: Well, uhm...yeah I guess.
