Jewish students account for the largest minority group at U of M.  Asians are the 2nd largest minority.  However, I'm not even sure that Jewish students are considered a minority at Michigan. Rest assured that Jewish and Asian students are well represented at the University of Michigan.

Michigan State is a more well rounded university than the UM. The Spartan campus is much more alive than Michigan's. The UM has a better grad school, but MSU's undergraduate school is better than Michigan's.
