I would like to run a hotel in a AC game, design the rooms and help customers :D maybe with mini games.

Nook Shop Simulator where you are running the store. Start off as a small shack and slowly start upgrading and getting more space

If it's a cooking game? I would love that and maybe newer cooking recipes.
If it involves science, I would love it.
If it involves diving for newer sea creatures in a submarine? Yes.
Any style for ACNH I would love it.
For all the other games EVERYONE IS PLAYING, it's getting MEH to me.
ACNH is and will always be my favorite game to play, my getaway from depression, my place to talk to villagers instead of mean IRL people, and a space I feel safe (minus the wasps, spider and scorpion 🦂 stings).

I think either an updated version of amiibo festival or perhaps a game where we assist in growing and developing a Nookingtons. Maybe developing a business park and running/maintaining the businesses somehow

Animal crossing movie maker! Help the villagers dreams of becoming a star come true. Make different movies, use items for props, go to different peoples island, and watch movies on the big screen with your favorite villagers. Even have a movie theater that the villagers can work at

Since we've had a decorating spinoff I think a fashion version based on the pattern design feature would be fun.

I like how relaxing and easy the game is. I can pick it up just to chill for a bit.

As one of only 17 humans that still checks in with my villagers a few times a week (along with a little basic island maintenance; stupid weeds), I just wish I had something else to do.
Animal Crossing characters could be added to smash or kart or party. They obviously don’t need their own entry into those genres.
But AC doesn’t need to deviate. We just need more of the same. Just MORE. Maybe with micro transactions built in. I think everything should be attainable through bells, but that bells could be purchased. I know people find that stuff predatory and it might not be possible in a kids game, but I just want something that will motivate Nintendo to support the game for more than a year and a half.
I still would love to see timeshares. Basically, Tom Nook would make you an offer. You build a home, decorate it, etc. and you could interview potential guests. There would be one 4 month slot, two 2 month slots, and four 1 month slots, with up to 2 guests in the condo at a time. This would allow you to spend time with lots more characters and you’d get to see the one you liked at least once per year. In addition, or instead of you could have a resort on the island or on an adjacent island where you serve a constant stream of guests. Again, meeting far more potential villagers than at the campsite.
Villagers that leave should maintain their memory of you, also. And you should be able to correspond with past villagers and invite them to visit or return permanently.
Other possibilities would be a ski resort, a ranch, an idealized city (like the way Sesame Street is supposed to be a small section of NYC).
Even if it’s a full spin off, rather than DLC, there should be a way to migrate your character to the new game. Maybe you could spend summers on your original island and winters in the new game. Again, your villagers should remember you from place to place.
Whatever, is done, there need to be activities you can do with other players as well as NPCs, like design and play on a mini golf course. Or you could earn arcade cabinets as rewards with playable classics like Donkey Kong and Mario. If it was a ski resort: ice skating and down hill slalom.
To me, though, I don’t want Cookie; I want MY version of Cookie. I don’t want Coach; I want MY Coach. Etc.
Even on Happy Home Paradise, you just get the generic, base version of characters. Your actual villagers don’t recognize you on the HHP archipelago. It’s super annoying and the main reason I lost interest in that DLC. It would take very little effort to carry over your relative friendship level and nickname from the main game to the DLC.
Come on Nintendo!
I even defend Nintendo when they send their corporate lawyers/ninjas to destroy people’s lives and garnish their wages. All I’m asking for is the privilege of giving Nintendo more money. They won’t take my money. I would literally pay a monthly fee for Animal Crossing if it meant they would support the game long term.
Ugh…

Mini game DLCs like a coffee shop with Brewster, curio shop where you help Blathers unbury artifacts, researching and creating constellations with Celeste, working odd jobs or requests for Nook & the shop, making deliveries like gifts, mail, etc but to earn relationships points or rewards, Beach clean up mini game, Mario style mini game underwater where you have to duck

Overcooked style games suck for those of us who have any joint issues, EDS, arthritis, Fibro, or a combo of the above so a bunch of people either can't play or will struggle to play... Logical puzzles I like better but eh it takes away from what Animal crossing is... I agree with the Amiibo Festival type game or a spin off of one of the more successful games on another console upgraded and made better.

Oh my God this video was the pick me up emotionally that I needed. ❤ What a fun theorizing video. I would love any of those options that you mentioned. Any any of those options. And also I really think that Brewster is a great idea waiting to be hatched. His whole cafe. How many cooking sims do we have? Not enough. It would be so cute to run a little cafe with Bruce jar and as you progress you unlock new recipes and new characters. With how many characters Animal Crossing has today it would be endless. Mobile or on the switch take my money. 😂 Okay honestly anything Animal Crossing at this moment please take my money.

A RPG would work really well for Animal Crossing I could see a Spinoff like that but dude again your sticking stuff on the wall to see what sticks.

I’d love to see a Brewster spin off game, like Brewster’s coffee break: where he teaches you how to make lattes. 😊

I would like to see a more 🤔 how I’d describe as Stardew & Sims mashup where you can have a farm, farm animals different from NCPS obviously, pets, a spouse perhaps, visit other peoples house, have relationships points with them, and most importantly to me I’d say having the architectural ability to build and customize homes inside and out like Sims or Stardew sorta ish

I always say that Nintendo doesnt have a FarmSim of his own.
And AC would be awesome and it already have some foot on the genre.

And i mean a Proper FARMSIM, right now AC is not a farmsim, even some people kind put on the same genre but we know it isnt.

A Story of Seasons like would fit so perfectly with AC.
I say that about 2 years already, maybe some day ❤

I like the mini game route. How can catch the most of this bug it pops up on screen then everybody starts looking like crazy for that bug. Some with fish. Also you have a sling shot mini game and the item your looking for pops up on screen and you can see through presents floating and you have to shot the right one.Maybe you could customize your character before you play. How about a 35 style mini game. 35 players looking for a bug or a fish how crazy would that be!!!
