How to Add ToolTip Annotations to Your Google Data Studio Reports

The data we display in our reports and charts is not always easily and quickly understood by the end-user. Data Studio gives us these text boxes to be able to add extra information and context to carts that need it.

But what if you want to go a step further and declutter your reports to only show information when it’s needed, say on the hover of a mouse?

Thank you for the video, it has been really helpful. However, I can't seem to do the `Avoid popup covering chart functionality` trick. This is what I am using in the Knob Content: `<a href="#" title="this is my content" </a>` Is this the right way to do it? The text in my title is not appearing

Yes this took is great, but running into the same problem as others where the tooltip text box covers the scorecard/table below it, and if I make it smaller to the size of the icon, then nothing shows up on hover. What am I missing?

The explanation and video is good, just as the other guides, but the fact that the invisible tooltip control in view mode still blocks off any interaction between a user and the part of the dashboard that is covered really limits the usefulness of this control.
