That was the reaction someone with a medical service dog should receive: concern and not condemnation.

You know what else is great for a high heart rates? People being kind and offering support

It’s amazing how dogs can detect this kind of changes in a human’s body.

That woman needs a raise. She saw there was something and wanted to help while being respectful.

One time I had a POTS episode and almost passed out in target and an employee walked up and was like.. “are you okay? Do you need anything?” And I was like “I’ll be okay. Thanks.”
And he went… “oh okay………….. do you need a cookie or something?”

I think he thought my service dog is diabetic alert. It was so funny. He was so sweet.

This is how people with service animals should be treated.

Finally a video where ppl weren't jerks to the service dog and their person. She was really thoughtful & acted how others should always act.

One of the first times I've seen a worker do exactly what they should in this situation. Give the person space but making sure they don't need immediate assistance

I don't have POTS, but I do have anxiety/panic attacks. One time, my mom and I were at a store, and a panic attack hit. I sat down on the floor, and one of the ladies who worked there asked if I was okay and if she could do anything to help. My mom told her about my panic attacks, and the lady went into their kitchen and brought me a bottle of water and just kept reassuring me that I was okay.

I'll never forget that sweet lady. I wish I had gotten her name.

Perfect example on how people should act in public. My bestie and I went to the local arcade and her service dog, Casper alerted her. I helped by elevating her feet on my thighs and everyone was so confused. An employee came over and asked if she passed out, but she explained how her heart conditioned worked and he had a security guy stare at us.

After seeing some employees give you shit for sitting on the floor it is very refreshing to see somebody actually be kind courteous understanding and helpful.

I hope you let that ladies employer know how valuable she is to their team. Looking at some of the responses and reactions I've seen you get from staff. What an absolute treasure 😊

This is so beautiful all around. My dog was rescued from the street when someone left him tied to a post for 2 days in front of a bar. We believe he was a trained service dog for the soldier who left him because he knew when my sugar was dropping before I even knew I was diabetic. Once I understood what he was doing, he’d even wake me up from my sleep by scratching me very roughly when he was the most gentle and calm boy normally. I would’ve slipped right into a coma without him. He saved my life so many times, I just wish I could’ve saved his. He got cancer and I just couldn’t put him through more pain. I put my boy to sleep on January 16th this year, and I’m just not the same person without him. This whole house isn’t the same without him. I miss you bubba. You were The Goodest Boy Who Ever Lived ❤

Cherish these beautiful babies we are ALL responsible for 😭
