Watching George you can just see through his emotions and body language how much he loved his father 😢

The best was
"Baker, if you're so smart,
Why am I president and you're not?"

When I die, I hope that this will be the type of mourning at my funeral. Laugh, remember my good sides and carry with you those pieces of me worth having, there is enough time for crying in life...

Everyone was laughing, except for those very serious Secret Service agents.

In 1988, I was a 26-year-old employee of a Fortune 500 company, and I was invited to attend a Bush fundraiser on the company dime. After then Vice President Bush spoke, he made his way to the floor where he went from table to table shaking hands. My wife, a very pretty blonde 24-year-old, stood next to me as we waited for the Vice President to make his way to our table. As he approached, I stuck out my hand, but Mr. Bush reached past me to my wife, and whispered to me, "If you think I'm going to shake your hand first, you're crazy!" I loved that and will always remember it. My wife was so flattered when I told her what he said. 😂

It’s crazy to see the former presidents sitting next to each other, not fighting’s judging but smiling.

If your death makes people cry, you know you’re important to someone. You know you mattered. But if your death makes someone laugh in spite of your absence, you know you lived a good life

I’ve always thought a good laugh can make a world of difference no matter what’s going on. This is exactly what my family does when someone passes. We sit around and laugh until our stomach and faces hurt telling stories and mishaps. It’s great for the grieving process. I don’t care what side you were on, both of the George’s had an awesome personality and sense of humor.

I know funerals are supposed to be very serious and somber, but Bush 41 was a good man with a good bit of humor, and the humor at this ceremony was well placed, honest, and very memorable.
