Why is the White House making these statements publicly? 🤔 Statements about intelligence are made in private. They are literally negotiating on behalf of Hamas, and negotiating against our ally Israel. These conversations could easily take place in private like all intelligence conversations do. The fact that this is being announced publicly is very meaningful and the meaning can be clearly interpreted as negotiating publicly in a hostage negotiation process that they are not involved in privately.
