Murder in Moscow Idaho - Mother of 4 Rachael Anderson | True Crime Stories

Today's case takes us to a location that's been in the media A LOT lately; Moscow, Idaho! Yes, that's right, the location of the recent quadruple homicide of the four University of Idaho students Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, and his girlfriend Xana Kernodle. Before that tragedy struck the close-knit college town of Moscow, not many of us knew about the place, it's sad that such a horrible event had to happen to put in on the map, at least in the true crime world. The case I'll be discussing happened back in the spring of 2010. Rachael Anderson, a mother of 4 went missing without a trace. This is her story.

This is my aunt. She was one of the most amazing women I have ever known. I don't know that I can watch the video but I'm sure you did a great job speaking about her and her children. ❤

Your sincere empathy for the victims is so evident in your delivery. RIP Rachael ❤️. One of my dear friends recently left a DV relationship and had to have police involvement in order to do so. So many months I was fearful that something like this would end up and I am so grateful that she is safe. She utilized the resources that I provided for her, and is in a safe place and rebuilding her life. I'm so thankful to creators like you for sharing insight into cases like these.

These cases always hit different, when you see actual family members of the victims in the comment section.
You do a great job presenting these stories with respect, dignity and compassion for the victims, and it is why you became one of my favourite creators.
Thank you. ✊🖤

Thank you for telling Rachel's story. It was heartbreaking, as all of these true crime cases are. I'm so sorry that her body has never been recovered, but I pray that it still will happen. I would like to see complete closure for her family and friends...but especially for her children. It still amazes me that there are so many evil people walking around that believe they have the right to take another innocent person's life. It is just hard for me to wrap my head around. It is always my hope that justice will be served, both on this earth and on Judgment Day when they stand before God. I love that you are so detailed in the telling of your true crime stories, especially helping the viewers know who the victims are. You have done a great job for Rachael, as you do all of the victims in the cases you cover.

I remember this case but didn’t realize at the time that it was in Moscow ID! Thanks for going into so much detail! I always thought of her children and hoped her little boys had a loving home despite losing their mom!

This has nothing to do with this case, but I was watching your last video in Starbucks and a girl sitting behind me (she could see the video) said “Kyle Richards has a YouTube channel?” It was at that moment that I realized you DO resemble her both in appearance and voice!! I explained who you are and she subscribed after watching about 19 minute of your video!

Also I always find it so cool that youre currently in school for death investigations/ already have your JD! I feel like it gives you a vantage point that not a lot of others have/can share with us in their videos like you can 😊

You covering a much lesser known case from a place that has become a huge story is why I will always watch your videos. You are the something missing from true crime on here, a commitment to getting the stories out there with such compassion to the victim's, their family/friends and their stories.

It baffles me that the detective on her case didn't have a car following her especially with how Things had progressed so quickly. Had he been doing his job and keeping an eye on her they could have not only caught the person but prevented this
