50 year old office worker when he sees a young girl with anxiety: she's just like me for real

Younger people who watch Bocchi may be antisocial or busy with their young people lives.
So older gentlemen are the ones with the money and free time to do these things

Have to remember that it is not only Bocchi's demographic, but specifically Bocchi's demographic that would go to that café. So most younger people are out because collab cafés are expensive. Time of year, week, and day is also important to garner whether people are available to go.

The younger bocchi fans probably too anxious to go to the cafe lol

Bocchi has that "literally me character" energy that attracts an older audience like how Ryan Gosling does I guess

It's funny. I was the same age as the K-ON girls when it first aired and I played guitar, so it was my favourite anime. Now I'm a 30 year old office worker and like Bocchi the Rock for the same reasons, lol. Takes me back.

I remember recently going to the FMA Paselabo collab cafe in Shinjuku and I was a bit surprised to see how wide the demographic was. Every single type of person I could think of was there and everyone was so nice and thoughtful. Just a group of anime fans enjoying some good themed food together

knowing Japan, those things is probably keeping them from losing their mind

I almost feel called out, very close to that

Felt the same way when I saw Hololive Fans in the concert/fanmeets. People kept saying that it's a bunch of unwashed fat dudes who just climbed out of their basement who only sees the sun once a year when the fanmeet is on. But I saw a lot more women than I expected, many couples, and interacted with fans who are cooks, gym instructors, office workers, and many who does not fit the "basemet-dwelling neckbeard" stereotype.

People who go to anime cafés are not "the average fans" they are people who are big enough fans of a show to go to a café based on that show

I wouldn't say the average fan goes to anime cafes.

I am in my mid-50s and here is my take. The music angle intrigued me but the social anxiety and the rest of her vibe struck a chord(pun intended). I found Bocchi to be far more relatable IRL than the power fantasy isekai trash, which I love, or many slice-of-life anime.

The ones who are like Bocchi obviously didn't go there

The younger part of the Bocchi fanbase is too Bocchi to go to the Bocchi café.

Garnt acting like he isn't going to be a 40 year old going to anime cafes in the near future 💀💀💀
