Fun fact. This shared its interior design with the Honda Insight. Its literally just a second generarion Insight on the inside and even under the hood.

I worked at a BMW dealership in the service area and had a coworker who drove one of these. Didn’t even know they existed until then. They’re neck breakers in person, pictures and videos don’t do them justice. Extremely beautiful cars in person. This all coming from an American muscle/mopar fanboy lol.

This was a really cool concept, and they look awesome. Honda tried to cater to both enthusiasts as well as regular people, but ended up making a car that wasn't sporty enough for enthusiasts or practical enough for regular people.

My first night ever going out driving for fun on a winding road as a teen, I was passed by what I think was a CR-Z. I'll never forget those triangular tail lights vanishing around a corner. The CR-Z has always had a special place in my heart after that.
