Applying and Unboxing United Explorer Card | Getting the 5th Chase Credit Card

Crazy, I am in the exact same position! I am at 4/24 and was looking at the same cards (business and hotel) but it’s the exact same for me because I won’t be spending that much in the next few months to justify the ink and I also stay at Airbnb’s or w family when I travel so the explorer card is the one I’ll be applying for and I had the same thought regarding just downgrading the card to it’s no annual fee variant if I didn’t see the value in the 2nd year

In order to get travel insurance protection do you have to book trip thru chase travel portal or you get travel insurance even if you book directly with airline using this card?

Nice! I’m way over 5/24 lol. So I applied for the CITI AAdvantage which has almost the same perks as delta. 50K miles bonus tho.

Disappointing the card is cheap and flimsy. Mine will be here this week but I’ll be using Apple Pay whenever I can.

I can answer that question: 100% No! If you want to run the chance of being scammed and never receiving your owed miles, sign up! I’ve spent 2 years, 31 hours logged with United and Chase customer service with zero solutions. I’ve never received my “1st checked bag for free” while flying United as well. Still waiting on my 40, 000 miles owed from April of 2020. Go with any other points reward system, this one is trash!
