I don't think the problem is not knowing how America works in a sense. A LOT of "True Americans" and people who love America don't understand even half of how America truly works. Even I don't understand how everything works here and I absolutely love America.

I think the real issue is not being taught how bad other countries are to live in. How some are taught that Socialism and Dictatorships are a acceptable alternative to our Democratic Republic society is downright wrong. They are taught Socialism is sharing and each person getting a fair portion. They are taught that Dictatorships give each citizen a fair and even amount.

Once you understand how badly poor souls are suffering in places like China, Cuba and North Korea, only then will you start to love America. Just ask Brittney Griner how she views America after Russia had their way with her for a year.

I remember being taught both. Also, learning alot other countries and their history. There is no one country with a clean slate, theyve all made mistakes. We are just living in a transition in our country where the pendulum is constantly slapping back in the opposite direction. Which causes a reaction, good or bad. Its why we are here. That and the destruction of actually free press that isnt bought out by coporate interests

There's nothing wrong with learning from history so it won't repeat itself... but we also need to remember what America has done right. Such as maintain government of the people, by the people, and for the people since 1787.

Ask these schools what country is better than the US, and they can't name one. When you really get down to the important characteristics, the US is easily the best country in the world by a wide margin. Let's hope that more folks realize this soon.

Do you mean the part about the glorious American healthcare system where you get to choose between what is considered basic care in every other developed nation in the world, and financial ruin and homelessness? Im so lucky to live in the "best" country on earth, where my entire lifes savings can be obliterated by an illness that would be treated for free anywhere else. its amazing and i totally dont think the politicians and CEOs should be rounded up and sent to death camps. god bless America!
