Today’s 200km stage of the Tour de France had very few flat roads, as the rolling climbs of the Massif Central created plenty of drama in the peloton.

200 Km out at the front, and stage Win for De Gendt, a new line written in the TdF Legent! Alaphilippe back in the Yellow Jersey just in time for Bastille Day, that's classy. Last year he was chasing the King of the Mountain classification. What does he want to do this year?

Fantastic, entertaining stage. Froome's absence has made for Tour that is a little harder to predict. I will never buy a carbon bike. A Frenchman in yellow on Bastille Day? Love it.
