Buying a Dwarf Crawfish For My Guppy Tank!

Kind of jealous that you have a variety of pet stores where you live. I’m in a small town and the only pet stores here are Petco and Petsmart about a half hour-ish from where I live.

I don’t think that’s a dwarf crayfish, He is a tangerine crayfish a morph of Procambarus clarkii. He will get 6-8 inches and will need a 20 gallon minimum tank size. But he will grow slow and will live in that tank for at least 6 months. love the crayfish though and they make amazing personable pets.

Saw you make your trip to the Pet Store to pick out a Mexican Dwarf Crawfish. I really didn’t know what I was going to see. Much to my surprise I thought he was neat. When you put him into his tank, he didn’t waste any time finding his hiding place.
