Clarity and accountability are extremely essential

Compassion and respect. For those of us who do not want opposite gender for any procedure, catheterization, baths, tests this should mean that you would ask us if we prefer same gender for these things. Many of us feel sexually abused by these staff. This includes men. Many men refuse to get medical attention due to the fact that female staff continually expose them when they want male scrubs, nurses, cnas, radiology techs etc. Many men just as women have morals and are modest. Humiliation, disrespect and badgering are common treatment of men. Let's make a point of getting more men in to these positions those who do have a preference.
