There's a really easy test. Let the casino do the work. If the casino makes you play against other customers and takes a cut (think poker), it's a game of skill. When you're playing against the house and winning big, if they send their best looking employee over with free drinks to keep you at the table, it's a game of chance. If they send their biggest and scariest employee over to tell you that you've probably been going long enough and should go play at a different casino, it's a game of skill.
