A Boeing test pilot named Tex Johnston did an unannounced "Barrel Roll" in a Boeing 707 in 1955. After the successful "Barrel Roll, " the CEO of Boeing William Allen told Mr. Johnston in a nice way, "Please don't do that again. He actually did 2 "Barrel Rolls" to make sure everyone had a chance to see the stunt. Mr. Johnston knew the flying characteristics of the Boeing 707 very well.
