You've got some great turntables. An all analog, well mastered and well pressed vinyl record will always sound better than even the best sounding digital version of the same recording due to the inherent limitations of digital recordings in terms of compression. However, many of the new vinyl records being sold today are not true analog to analog transfers from the original master tapes and most new music is recorded digitally to a master in the first instance; e.g. Eric Clapton Unplugged or Diana Krall The Girl in the Other Room. Also, you have cases of great mastering in the U.S., but to save money, the record label will send the plates overseas to be pressed and you end up with a record that has surface noise from a poor pressing. I prefer vinyl because I want to hear the best sound achievable, but it is an expensive and often frustrating hobby to collect the best sounding records.

Would a more affordable TT, like say a Rega P6, still convey the improvement in sound this Vinyl pressing has over a digital/ streaming version?

Your audio items are expensive but the way you play them is so bad with rough sound
