In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 22, Shree Krishna reiterates the concept of rebirth, comparing it to an everyday activity. When garments become torn and useless, we discard them in favor of new ones, but in doing so we do not change ourselves. In the same manner, the soul remains unchanged, when it discards its worn-out body and takes birth in a new body elsewhere.

BG 2.22: As a person sheds worn-out garments and wears new ones, likewise, at the time of death, the soul casts off its worn-out body and enters a new one.

We are souls. Need to contemplate on it, hence we can leave attachment on the body and on relationship too

Just like the way we change into new clothes each day, soul changes the body when current body is inhabitable by the will of God. Beautifully explained!

Soul is permanent and the body is temporary.Just like we change the old clothes, the soul discards the old body and goes to the new body.
