We often try to control certain situations in our lives. But things don’t come in our control no matter how much we try. But when we surrender and take shelter of the Supreme Controller, Sri Krishna, then the uncontrollable can easily become controllable by His power.

So, when the mind is uncontrollable, we must practice to control it, because it’s only by practice that the mind comes in control. In midst of the practice, when we feel frustrated due to the flickering mind, we must continually seek Krishna’s mercy and pray to Him for His help..

In one verse Bhagwan says to make our mind work for one thing, if it tries to run away then bring it back to work.

But in another verse he says to fix the mind on him, always remember him.

How can these contrast states be achieved at once when we do work like studying as it requires full focus which can be achieved by the first verse as I believe. But what about remembering the Lord ? When I remember him while studying I am not at all able to study.

Arjun came out of this dharam sankat but how ? What he understood which me and uncountable people like me failed to understand?
