I used black Milliput to repair a broken side mirror on my minibus. It worked great and was mouldable and enabled me to shape it. It's waterproof too and has withstood recent torrencial rain. A great strong repair. I hope you have the same good result with your caravan worktop.

UV curing epoxy glue works. It self levels and the UV light with the glue causes it to harden very quickly.
Don't try superglue & baking soda, this dries extremely hard and can be difficult to work smooth.
I've used Milliput for other tasks and like the fact that it can be worked wet and dries extremely well.
