Be a student. Stay open and willing to learn from everyone and anyone. Being a student means you have room for new input. When you are green you grow, when you are ripe you rot.

Ms. Edwards, back then covid was surging and I was in more or less friendless (except for old friends that I couldn't really connect with anymore), I read your blog about making friends and it truly changed my life! 3 years down the line I still apply your ideas and it truly works for me. You are perhaps Dale Carnegie of our time. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with the rest of the world!

yaaa! The mindset book and talk were so greeat!! I try to include that in my lessons and in videos for my students everyday! I also listen to a ton of audiobooks so I've now become addicted to learning and I feel weird when I haven't listened to something new recently.

I think that his idea on how to learn new things is really good because he takes into account things like the desire to learn new things, I agree that the age you are should not be taken as an impediment, a person who spends learning things What they really like is a more happy people and with the desire of each day to undertake a little more each day

Wow I'm definitely sharing this video. @Vanessa Van Edwards, wow! Great ideas.
I first saw VVE on a Facebook share talking about how humans can smell others and react, which is a science that just has been hidden to the current society. I love this!

I had did that already 2 years before and I created a list on my phone but unfortunately I didn't learn even one skill from the list. The first one is getting fluent inEnglish which is getting impossible for me. The second one is learn how to sew but my mom says if I start sewing I will not concentrate on my studies. When she gets angry with me, she harshly says, "leave studies and become a tailor"😒
