Is it Worth VORTECH SUPERCHARGING Your G35 / 350z ? 2021

In this video I will be going over with you guys some of the pros and some of the cons with a Vortech Supercharger on the VQ35 de engines. I have had the kit for about 3 months now but it has been down for about 1 month and so I wanted to share my experience with you guys and hopefully this helps guide someone in the right direction.

Great kit for stock internals. I run the V3 Kit on my 04 350Z with bigger Intercooler, R35 Injectors, 3.12 Pulley tuned on UpRev. Car makes 426rwhp and 356ftlbs on 92 pump. Power delivery is very linear, just feels like a larger displacement engine.

I was able to find a v2 for free. Bought a G35 sedan from a guy that had it parked for 5 years and came to find out it had a whole vortech v2 kit on it. Bought that car for 2500, took the supercharger off and sold the car for 5000. So I basically made money in the process of acquiring that supercharger. Now Im putting it on my coupe with bunch other parts 🙌🏽

I have my supercharged g35 and i never ran into a problem with my it. its been over 2 years now and still runs perfectly fine. well worth it.

Im not sure if I even answered the video 😂 but I would say if you can find a used kit in the market then it could be worth it, but paying over $10, 000 for a new kit would be hard to justify but do not let me stop you haha. Hope you guys found this video useful!

I did a Momentum single turbo setup on my 06 6MT in 2012, made 438/426 at 8psi on stock motor with just the turbo kit, headers, and exhaust. They were going out of business so I got it for $8900 installed + $2k for a clutch. The powerband was really smooth considering it was single turbo, boost kicked in at 3500 so lag was a non issue. Ran 20k miles without problems except for 1. I blew a coil pack one day, took it to a shop, they said they could fix it but then called back after a day saying they couldnt and when I picked it up it was down to 2 coil packs. Sent car to Z1, spent a month trying to figure out what was wrong, said it was the ECU, replaced it, went and picked it up and right away it didnt feel right. Few days later i'm sitting at a light, hear a pop and the car sounds like a wrx again. Sent it back to Z1, turns out the problem was a bad ground wire, all I needed was a few dollars worth of wire to fix all the problems. Instead I spent $1800 on ECU replacement and other stuff they did and then $3k-$4k on rental cars while they were trying to figure it out. So all that being said if you go forced induction on a G just go ahead and replace all the ground wires, apparently it's not an uncommon issue. Also if you boost your G expect to spend a lot of $ whether you go turbo or SC.

You hit it right on the nail right on the head .I turbocharged my G35 .If I had to do it all over again I would do supercharger .It’s better for the street 👍👍👍👍

Ran my 03 350z stock block for 20, 000km, 420whp, finally blew last summer. Currently installing built motor, itll be sweet to make more power, but more than anything, just looking forward to the added longevity.

The stock block WILL blow up eventually!

If you know what RPM you made 440 WHP you can easily calculate torque.

I had a high compression 2000 Si that tore the timing belt. The only thing I say when boosting or generating higher compression on stock internals is careful if that belt breaks anywhere close to redline, you're bending and/or breaking every single valve.
