In the stillness of winter, where snow blankets the land and muffles the world’s noise, there stands an abandoned farmhouse. Its weathered walls hold memories etched by time, their silence as profound as the frost that coats the landscape.

This farmhouse in the East of Germany is small, unassuming, yet within its modest walls lies a story waiting to be uncovered. It once sheltered the lives of Mrs. Frieda and her husband. He worked the cargo trains during the GDR era, earning recognition for his labor under the socialist regime. She kept the home, sewing and tending to their quiet existence.Together, they lived simply, their lives defined by routine and tradition.

Now, the home lies in waiting, veiled in decades of stillness. A vintage stove sits cold in the corner, and a bed remains neatly made, hinting at a life left behind in a hurry—or perhaps simply abandoned to time.
But what caused this home to grow quiet, its doors left unopened for more than 20 years? With every step, we unravel a story left behind, a tale etched into the fabric of this forgotten place.

Join me as we explore this winter-bound relic, its mysteries waiting to be uncovered beneath the frost and silence. Let’s delve into the history and hidden life of a farmhouse that’s been left to the passing seasons.

Also the Explomo graphic in the beginning was so cool and how it was frozen looking and then said "Explomo". Very cool.

I love everything you show doesn't matter how short it is. My grandmother had one of those old timie water pumps that was outside, hers was inside. Look forward to your next episode.

Such a sweet little untouched farm. I can see that it was such a cozy little home this family could heat in the wintertime easily. So good to see that merciless vandals have not taken hold of it. Your intros are marvelous your voice says it all just lovely. I agree with you the size of these explorations don't matter whether it be a castle are this charming little farmhouse these places speak for themselves, and you keep the memory of the families alive with your documentation. I could see in my mind's eye the woman of the house working in this kitchen to provide for her family. It looks like there was a seating place by the stove where she could sit and stay warm and rest while she prepared meals and other kitchen duties. I'll watch it again there is a lot to glean from every nook and cranny of this home I love doing that. These people truly work so hard in a days' time. BRAVO' on your untouched farmhouse find! Sincerely, Ninamosha B.

Love the snowy trees and lawn shown at the beginning it made this sweet home look cozy. The stove in the kitchen with the stove pipe reminds me of the stove my Grammy Vail had in her kitchen when I was small. Loved this precious home, thank you for sharing.

Yep, loved this one. The snow at the beginning makes me happy. I am wondering what the cone things the kids in the photos are holding are. I hope someone lets me know. This was such a lovely home. It is interesting the shed actually housed more furniture and another room. Thank you for sharing. Cheers. ❤
