Programming Course to Master Software Development?

Have you ever wondered which course should you take to master programming? Let's talk about that in this video.

Did you know there's a lot of factors and things that you'll need to overcome to become a programmer that aren't specifically related to coding?

My name is Tim Buchalka and I have put together a series of videos which I call the "Programming Tip of the Day". And basically, each video goes through talking about some of the pitfalls and things that you'll need to overcome to succeed as a programmer, things like overcoming frustration and keeping yourself motivated.

In this series I will also answer common questions about choosing a programming language to learn, questions about your career path and things of that nature. Now there's a lot of other things as well that I'll cover in these videos and I'm also opening the lines for you to tell me what you want me to cover.

Now I've been a programmer for over 35 years so I think I'm real qualified to answer a lot of these questions. So if you do have a question, pop the question in the comments section of this video and I'll do my best to address that in a future video.

This man rocks. I've finished his course on Udemy "Python Masterclass" and although I am total newbie in programming (graduated in biochemistry), I could easily understand majority of his lectures(the ones that I didn't is because lack of my knowledge). So hats off!

I agree. There are no courses that will make you all of the sudden a programmer. It's all about continuous practice. I see working on a research or a project is a great opportunity to maximize programming skills.

I started with c++ at university 10 years ago. When I tested c++ first time, I told myself that I loved programming... now recently I started python and Java. Besides those, web development and machine/deep learning I am learning right now...

Hi Tim, , 30 yrs ago when I started coding for the web, I used Perl but also had to program the html and the sql calls too. Do the frameworks handle this now, or are those still areas new programers need?
