This has to be one of the biggest updates for minecraft, sadly most players don't see this side of the game until someone spends a lot of time making something cool with these features

This is absolutely one of the most game changing updates to minecraft. So many technical things that most players will never even know exist, and yet will allow map and datapack makers to go absolutely wild in ways that only mods have ever been able to do before.

I'm STOKED to see what people make with all this, and I can't wait to try my hand at all of it as well~

I wish they would make the string sub-command more powerful. Like allowing to remove n-characters from the end, just like you can from the beginning. And maybe even, if we're lucky, a concat sub-command which would be very nice!

Amazing changes on the whole! Those biome tags are really specific... Thoughts on changing them to "fireBurnoutTicks: <number>" and "canSpawn: <mobID[]>". Snow golem melting is probably ok, although maybe a better option (long term) would be "mobEffects" being some array of effects containing conditions and potion effects to apply with those effects. Probably want a entityBurn potion effect too... Assume this is going to be what happens eventually anyway.

17:10 I've literally wanted this for years to make it easier to have a list of historical atlases on the wiki. Best change in 1.19.4 and it has good competition.

The only thing we need now is a way to generate random numbers and add those to a scoreboard easily and set fire to mobs that isn’t “HasVisualFire”

How much overhead is having a chuck from a different (void) dimension loaded as opposed to a chuck far away in the main dimension with let's say a super flat world?

I ask because it might be useful with the clone and the like now being cross dimensional, but if it bad for performance, it's not worth it

one of my favorite parts about this update is that custom armor trims give us the ability to make custom armor without using mods like optifine (or using vanilla shaders, which are hard to learn)
