The mistake with the boat turned out to be funny and convenient, you can do cool tricks with it and conveniently transport animals.

I think it's worth returning this good "trick" with the boat. this is a really cool idea that will improve ice racing and animal transportation

Suggestion: instead of re-adding boat jumping, maybe the devs could add an "ice ramp" block that you could craft with ice. That way, it would be less OP (You would lose momentum while going up ice ramps, but you could still go fast if the ice track is designed properly).

A submission in "Minecraft Feedback" should get opened, to get the step boats up "bug" back. When I see these comments here, the community really wants it. Maybe the creator can support the opinion of the community
