During the cardioversion portion of the video, you say "press the shock button". The correct wording should be "press and hold the shock button until the shock it delivered". The device is looking for the R-Wave marker to deliver the shock, 10 milliseconds after the R-Wave, to avoid the relative refractory period of the cardiac cycle and send the patient into a lethal arrhythmia.

If you read about the dangers of getting shocked they talk about current in amperes. No one has been able to tell me how much current is used.
