Mid 2000's FPS games be like

I've seen this trend in a few mid 90's and mid 2000's games, and I don't really know what it's called, but I always thought it was funny.

It'd be really funny if they did this in the new modern warfare games where it moves in to line up with your character, but it turns out you were still in first person and you bonk helmets lol

Yep, reminds me exactly of those cutscenes in *Doom 3* where the camera gets *JAMMED* back into the Marines head going back to First Person view lol.
