Why would you not move the box over and cover the hole, you get an F

Cannot use a box that uses 6-32 screws to house a light fixture, those boxes are for devices only. You need to be using an actual light fixture box typically round and uses 8-32 screws….

Why would you idea receptacle box as a light box? As an electrician, I thought I should ask.

The plumber vent is there put wood in and screw the box to it your way
only a quick fix to fall later

Better to cut in your box first, and then snake the romex, no holes to the side and more room to work with. Anyone that criticized the box and installation is wrong.
