Hi Shanty . We have the same thing here in Calcutta, India > Only thing, it is pronounced - "Phooloori " . It is had as a tea time snack in the evenings as is " Alur Chop " the same as your Alu Pie. . A lot of Trinidadians left India from here in Calcutta.
