Since 2001, MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) has worked to share the best educational resources from MIT freely and openly, creating remarkable new opportunities for millions of learners and educators around the world.

This online celebration marks 20 years of open sharing with a discussion of what OCW means to the world, its impact, and offers a glimpse of an even more ambitious vision for the future of OCW as we work to develop the NextGen OCW website and efforts.

Participating in this event:
Hal Abelson | MIT Class of 1922 Professor of Computer Science and Engineering
Mussie Demisse | MIT Class of 2021, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Curt Newton | Director, MIT OpenCourseWare
Krishna Rajagopal | Dean for Digital Learning, William A. M. Burden Professor of Physics
Anjali Sastry | Senior Lecturer, MIT Sloan School of Management
Michael Short | MIT Class of 1942 Associate Professor of Nuclear Science and Engineering

You and a few other universities that started this, is one reason I support this channel. I think it's great because it gives access to people who otherwise have no opportunity to reach higher education or be inspired by it. Thanks!

Doing this OCW made me feel like I was attending MIT and getting all the special lectures I couldn't from afar, getting to learn from experienced professors and their teaching skills has made all the difference for me.
Thank you so so much all of the MIT Professors for helping.
