I was in the Navy for 7 and 1/2 years, and I am here to tell you that those pilots are the best in the business and they knew exactly what they were doing

No one is buying this ridiculous story. Competence is required to fly any aircraft, even more so with a military helicopter. These people think we are stupid. I do not think so!

Sounds like the explanation a bully gives a teacher when she returns to the classroom after a 3 minute break. Ain’t buying it. Not for one second. The pilots can well see the lay of the land before they ever drop in. This is a load of malarkey.

Gotta call BS. Blackhawk pilots are the best in its field. THEY KNEW what they were doing. Were either TOLD to do it, or they are DEI hires.

I will ask a question on one point alone.

When modern leaders say they take responsibility, what precisely does that entail these days?

They're Lying and trying to cover this up. There was NO ''Landing Site' not in a parking lot with tall steel lights that are too close to each other to actually LAND a Helicopter at.
More lies and coverups

Their excuse doesn’t pass the smell test.

Since when does the National Guard utilize unmarked black helicopters with the transponder off? Think about it.

When someone says that something is there Number 1 priority you know they are lying.

Why don't you just quit lying until the truth if that was really the case then why was the helicopter blacked out of any identifying features. And if they're flying for you for the US army or whoever they better be a little bit more skilled than that come on we're not stupid

Having served in the usmc you don't land a copter in a place like this even if there's no one there.

Well I’m retired military here and the crew knew what they were doing. But my question is why did they do it.Something is not right with this pic.

The bigger question is : why was there no identifying markings on that aircraft? This is not a war zone !!!

That's how we train pilots to fly multi-million dollar equipment? Fly directly above unsecured tents, chairs...people? Put EVERYONE in danger?

The crew F'd up, and now they're trying to hide it. I support all troops, but just come clean on the incident.

BS, all copter pilots would know not to get anywhere near those supplies

Somebody needs to ask him why the transponders was cut off in the helicopter that's dangerous for everybody in there is it going to take responsibility for that too

My government scares me. Not the fact that they intentionally sabotaged the aid station- the fact that they expect us to believe it was an honest mistake. It also concerns me that our military will carry out these types of orders despite knowing the negative impact it has on the victims.

So if it was an innocent ‘accident’, why did they hide the ID numbers legally required to be on a helicopter?
