88, 000 evacuated with only one sprained ankle in injuries? Kudos to the City organizers and the residents for acting quickly and safely. Firefighters and First Responders at their best. Thank you West Jet, Suncor and Shell for putting assistance over the all mighty $$$. You make Canadians proud. Ohhhh Canada we stand on guard for thee!

0:08 That is not the fire south of Fort McMurray as pictured in the illustration, that is the fire north of town on Memorial Drive, behind the Suncor Business Leisure Centre and Cat Rentals store.
