This is NOT a Bible Contradiction!

How do we resolve Bible "contradictions"?

The same people who tell us that these are contradictions would be telling us that the Bible was fabricated if all the Gospels agreed on all points. Let's face it, these people will NEVER admit that the Bible has even a grain of truth.

The truth is that eyewitness testimony almost NEVER agrees 100%. People see things from different perspectives. Different aspects of an occurrence strike different people as being more important than others. When testimony agrees in all details, we can be certain that some coaching has occurred and at least one of the people is saying what he has been told to say.

Alot of different Bible gospels add more clarity and truth to others

I am convinced that people do not know what a contradiction is. Additions and/or omissions are not contradictions. If one Gospel said Jesus died on a cross and another Gospel said He didn’t die, that is a contradiction.

Before computers, internet, cell phones and social media humans used to be able to think that thru by themselves. Now so many intelligent young people cannot use that intelligence.

What gets me when people point out this “contradiction “ that they don’t notice that the tomb was empty.

It’s amazing Mary Magdalene was the key factor in all this- if she was by herself or she was with other women.. is not Important to the story!!She’s was the first disciple that Jesus revealed himself too. Her name in the book of life, her faithfulness to Jesus and her boldness to the Apostles!!

If we really understand it, John is focus with one woman (Mary Magdalene) because she has a story that focused on her meeting with the arised Jesus, but Matthew, Mark and Luke are telling that she isn't going alone, there are other women with her when she went to the tomb.
When you look at it, it's just like when your sister/brother said that your mother is going to a party, while your aunt said that she is going with her friends. Your sister/brother is focused on your mother alone, while your aunt said that she actually going with her friends.

Mary Magdalene went with other women to the tomb. However, Mary ran ahead first and arrive moments before the other women arrived. This is because Mary was younger and more physically fit, and the all or some of the other women were older and slower. Nevertheless, all women finally arrived at the tomb.

It's not even a contradiction! One named names, the other did not.
Education sadly lacking if someone thinks THAT is a contradiction.
