Are you really as good as you think? The more good you imagine you are, says Sadhguru, the more that nobody else seems ok for you, because your goodness is only in comparison with others.

My mother always told me good people either die early from this horrible world or they just get treated badly in this world or they just get killed off.... I’ve witnessed this with my own eyes and it goes to show it’s very true. So if you know a good human being. protect them and enjoy your company with them they are rear and special, ur lucky remember that...

The simple answer to living life is to live intuitively. Your intuition will never deceive you. We deceive ourselves by not trusting our intuition.

In my book, a good person doesn't wilfully harm other human beings and tries to help others in need !

Before I dealt with my insecurities, I thought I was a nice and good person. After I dealt with my problems I saw that I wasn't nice at all. It was all contrived behaviour to get people to like me. I now accept the real me and when I'm nice it's for real and I feel great within

Good person has no expectations or does not self label himself or herself as a good person
A good person is a humble human being that treats people right and see s every one good

My father always said to me”It is very easy to be bad but it can be hard to be good”

Indeed. People who know they're good suffer because they see all the bad stuff around them.
It's a hard life with all the negativity and badness.

Exactly. My mom is like this and, until recently, so was I. Self righteous know it all. Good people suffer so much because they think everyone else should be just like them! When I gave up the idea that I knew anything then I was free. ☯️

I usually understand everything he says reflecting on my self. Sadly my goodness to others has brought me more pain than happiness. I cannot compare myself to others because we are all unique individuals. Comparing brings instabilities of mind.

Just slapped me into waking up. This makes so much sense. I’ve ended up isolating myself by judging that I’m so good against others. That’s done now

you should still be a good person just make sure you don't judge others for their imperfections

"Humanity is suffering from the sickness which is passing off as happiness for most people." Powerful and true!

We are all on the same path. Help those that are behind you and give thanks for those who are ahead of you. You can see there is greater than what you have and can hope for more spiritually.
Help your fellowman and you will be blessed.

I always see good in people and good around me. But the problem is that I get nothing in life. I work so hard for stuff but never achieve them. And then, I look around and I see all these "bad people" living my dream life. I tried so hard for years not to compare myself, but it has become more and more accurate and annoying every day.

I get it! This message was for me because I was a person that always needed approval from others. I wanted to be acknowledged as good person that eveeyone liked. I totally understand the intentations behind this message.

I needed to hear this. I was tired of thinking of myself as a good person and being treated like shit, it makes sense now ig. It’s both my own and other people’s fault for putting me in this situation. I need to learn to not worry about what other people are doing all the time and to also stop consciously thinking about being a good person n just do it and not give a damn bout what others think bro

The phrase "Sharing is caring" appropriately aligns with what he is trying to convey because it is not just about having goodness but we should also be able to share it with others who are in need.

Well I was told that by everyone around me the entire time growing up. No one wanted to be around me because I was too good. I didn't drink, I didn't smoke, I didn't like lying, etc.... And you are right that no one wanted to be around me....

But I was just being my natural self. I wasn't trying. I wasn't forcing myself on others. I was just being me.

I had to be taught by others what ego was, and then labeled with that ego just because I wanted to live a certain way, and have spent my entire life getting back to who I was as a child, when everyone else labeled me good.

The good people suffer more because they care about everything so deeply. Their suffering is no more than anyone else's in the world, which is a lot of suffering, but it is self-inflicted, uncontrollably though, by the devotion to do better in this world.

So who told me I was good before I thought it? Probably about 10 to 20, 000 people, along the way, adults I don't know or even remember, kids in my school that wouldn't hang around with me, etc...

I was too young to even know what ego was.
